Authors Helping Authors

I have hit my head against the proverbially brick wall many times in my writing. And I'm not talking about writers block. No, I'm talking about the grammar wall. I want all of you to meet and welcome a friend of mine who writes a blog dedicated to the writing process. From the submission process to grammar woes, Sandra really knows her stuff. And thank you Lord, she is willing to share that expertise with us. Take a moment and stop over and say hi. I believe, and Sandra correct me if I'm wrong, that she is a teacher of English Literature and boy does it show. She writes her erotic and edgy work under the name of Angel Martinez, and her mainstream romance under Sandra Stixrude.

So visit her Writers Habitat and enjoy.

Thank you for the plug, Catherine - and I do need to offer a small correction: except for a semester long stint student teaching, I don't teach English Lit. Have my degree in it but that's as far as it goes. (Found out I wasn't really fond of other people's children.)

ROLFMAO! Oh, man that is too funny. Other people's children can be quite the pain. *wiping tear from my eye*

Angel, can't wait to check it out. You go, grammar girl!

And do I ever hear you about other people's children. NOT my cup of tea. I'd need something stronger. So kudos to all the teachers out there!

Thanks for the tip, Catherine!

Angel, does it bug you as much as it does me to see "lay" misused for "lie" in a published book? Sheesh.

Hey Catherine, thanks for featuring our friend, Sandra. She can help writers who have problems with the big G that’s for sure. Her Habitat for Writers is great.

I'll go visit Angel's blog right now! And sorry for being so late to the discussion, my hubby's computer picked up a worm over the weekend *sigh* you can imagine...

I think I'll be downloading Firefox onto my puter, I can't stand being so out of the loop!!!
