Hi,
Watched your video blog...see leaving a comment ;)
Agree with what you're saying, but with a full time job, family, etc., etc. it's sometimes hard to take those free minutes and reply, when there is a book to be written. Yet without fans, no sales. The old rock and a hard place thing.

I couldn't agree with you more about this one. And you make new friends too. It's a wonderful way to network. It does take time but the results are so rewarding.
People need to know you were there. There's no other way to tell them.

I understand Kathy, however, not doing this at all results in low sales and repeat contracts. Even if you dedicate 10 min a day three days a week, it's better than nothing.

Glad you agree, Mary. I think you'll like numbers 1 - 8 as well! lol

I enjoyed your video blog and I'm looking forward to numbers 1-8!

I've made some wonderful friends online this way, Catherine. Great advice as usual. :-)

What a super idea to do a video blog, Catherine!

I thoroughly enjoyed it, and look forward to the 8-1 segment. I do agree with all you've said. Who doesn't like to have lots of friends, right?

Networking is definitely something to give some time to.

Hugs

Penny and Monique, Welcome to my blog. Thanks for the kind words! I have many video blogs to view if you're interested. Step over to my youtube page to see all of them.

Shelley, watching you over the last year has been inspirational. Thanks again for your support with my VB's

I've made tons of writer friends through blogging -- you're one of them, Catherine! I'm not as active on the loops, mainly because of time constraints, but I do try to respond to loop posts when I can. I always try to hit new blogs, though. I know how good authors feel when they get comments ;).

Hi Catherine, just wanted to repeat myself from your MySpace blog! *g* I really admire how you put into practise what you talk about in this video blog.
Oh yes, and I've been meaning to say I love the Kiltworthy cover--makes me wish more guys with abs like that would wander around all day with their shirts off ;-)

Great informative video as always, Catherine!

I have made a lot of great friends through online social networking. I don't even care if it turns into sales. (Well...not much! :) )It's just nice to have other people with similar experiences to talk to!

Can't wait for the next installment.
